Everyone knows that Himachal Pradesh is known as the Indian Switzerland, but did you know that this place holds many secrets which are not easily visible to all, as they are located in remote areas. Thus, today we shall be revealing some of these secret places to you and well the rest which are yet to be discovered, I leave it to all the Bear Grylls and Megan Hines out there.

First up is Kullu, which is obviously one of the best places to explore in Himachal Pradesh. Tourists flock in huge numbers here, every year! This place is situated on the banks of Beas River. You would have mostly heard Kullu with Manali, right. But just for once try visiting this place, as it is an awe-inspiring place!

Next up is Renukaji, which is completely unheard of, right. Well think again before slashing out this name from the places to explore in Himachal Pradesh, list of yours. As you will surely regret not visiting this place. This place offers never-seen-before views of itself and it also gives you the opportunity of exploring handicrafts made by the local artisans. But the best view is offered by the Renuka Lake which acts as the perfect mirror for your photography.
Next up is a secluded place indeed. It is very small and hard to find, but not on Google Maps of-course! It is an extremely beautiful place which is located in Banjar Tehsil. This place is so beautiful that you can literally hear the water crashing on to the pebbles and rocks as it passes by. This place sorts of clicks into the traveller inside you. You will understand it once you visit this place which is included in my list of places to explore in Himachal Pradesh.
Next up is Janjehli. Which is actually a valley covered completely with greenery and snowy mist. It is the best spot to camp and is also one of the most secluded places to explore in Himachal Pradesh. It is one of the most peaceful and tranquil place. It allows you to trek to places such as Chindi, Karsag and the rest.
Next up is a place that has mystery in its name itself. It is also known as ‘Gateway to Himalayas’. This is none other than Una which is completely offbeat. As this place is located at a height of 1210 ft. and it is also the hottest place in the whole of Himachal Pradesh! This place has to be definitely one of the places to explore in Himachal Pradesh.
Next up is a place which is as mystical as its name suggests. Shoja, is the perfect home for people looking for peace and a place filled with tranquillity as this place houses both of them. It is placed at a jaw-dropping height of 8500 ft. It is a village that practically utilises the mother nature to its limits and gives it back in the same amount as taken. As you can find chairs and tables made here by rough wood instead of the normal plywood and people also take care of mother nature here as their own mother! These were enough reasons to sport them in the list of secluded places to explore in Himachal Pradesh.
This one is placed a bit high, so we will have to jump up to 6600 ft. We will find that we have reached Prini, which is a beautiful village that has an extraordinary waterfall to welcome its visitors. This is one of the most secluded places to explore in Himachal Pradesh. This village is covered by paddy fields all around it and it also has the sweet scent that is released by wet mud after the first rain falls on it. It is a truly magical place.
Next up is a place that has its name straight out of the Hollywood, Cliffhanger. It must seem to you like a place where you can hang on the cliff literally, right. But no, it is not that! It is a place where you can literally feel that the earth is not a sphere in shape, as this place shows you so many cliffhangers that it will defy your knowledge itself. So, this has to be one of the most offbeat places to explore in Himachal Pradesh.
Next up is a place which is also known as ‘The mushroom city of India’, literally! Solan a place that is the heaven for foodies. This place is famous for its cuisines that are mostly prepared using mushrooms and home-grown veggies. This place offers one of the most beautiful views in the whole of Himachal Pradesh. This has to be one of the best places to explore in Himachal Pradesh.
Next up is a place that is very secluded, and that is Jibhi. It is a place that is straight out of fairy tale. The beauty offered by this place is incomparable to any other in Himachal Pradesh! You can enjoy the beauty of this place by dining at the dhabas and cafes provided by this place. This is literally one of the best places to explore in Himachal Pradesh, maybe even the best!
